Can I get azelaic acid without a prescription?

Azelaic acid is an ingredient present in over-the-counter skincare products—the main differentiator is concentration. Over-the-counter products can contain up to 10% azelaic acid, while our Azelaic Acid Gel contains 15%, a prescription dose which has been shown to be effective against acne, rosacea, and hyperpigmentation. At lower concentrations the anti-inflammatory and brightening effects are still present, but tend to be milder and slower to show results.

Can I use Azelaic Acid Gel (15%) if I’m pregnant?

Yes! Azelaic Acid Gel is safe if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or plan to conceive. It can also be a great option for those with very sensitive skin who aren’t able to use prescription retinoids.

What information do I need to provide after placing my order?
