Tazarotene Cream (0.1%)

The most potent topical retinoid available to clear acne, fade dark spots, reduce fine lines, and firm skin fast.

Your skin is always changing. Are you in control, or just along for the ride? Skip the wait for a dermatologist appointment and start your glow up today.

Great skin doesn’t always come easy—sometimes it means bringing in a heavy hitter. Tazarotene Cream 0.1% (the generic form of Tazorac) is a next-level prescription retinoid with a more receptor-selective mechanism when compared to tretinoin. This targeted approach has the potential to deliver faster, more pronounced results for stubborn acne, visible wrinkles, and skin texture than other prescription retinoids.

  • Accelerate cell turnover for a fresher, smoother appearance
  • Stimulate collagen production to visibly reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of firmness over time
  • Clear and prevent acne by keeping pores clear and preventing the buildup of dead skin cells
  • Fade dark spots and hyperpigmentation to encourage a more even, uniform tone
  • Improve texture and tone for more refined, radiant skin

Healthy skin is serious business, and Tazarotene Cream has the goods to back you up. Go get your glow.

Tazarotene is a prescription retinoid, but unlike tretinoin, it works by binding selectively to specific receptors in the skin to regulate cell turnover. This selective binding is the reason why it can work more aggressively, but this also means that is causes more initial irritation (that dryness, redness, and peeling that tretinoin users know so well). Tazarotene is FDA-approved for three different uses: acne, psoriasis, and photoaging (sun-damaged, aging skin). These three approvals take it to the next level and is part of what makes tazarotene a standout in the category.

What to Expect

Weeks 1-3

You may experience intense redness, peeling, or dryness at first—a retinoid more powerful than tretinoin also requires more adjustment from your skin.

Weeks 3-6

Cell turnover accelerates fast, which means congestion gets pushed to the surface aggressively, but it resolves quickly too.

Weeks 8-12

You’ll see a visible improvement in breakouts as the “purge” phase ends, and fine lines will smooth as collagen begins building.

Months 3-6

Deeper wrinkles reduce, firmness increases, and texture improves further. That’s better skin on your kind of timeline.

For patients who have already been using prescription retinoids and are ready to take things further, tazarotene is the natural next step. It delivers everything retinoid therapy is known for — collagen stimulation, accelerated renewal, improved tone and firmness — but at a higher potency that can produce more significant results.
