What should I take for UTI pain relief?

Acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Motrin) are both effective for relieving UTI pain until you can get treatment. Pyridium (Azo), is a highly effective pain reliever that specifically targets urinary pain and discomfort. You can request Pyridium from your doctor after checkout.
Pain relievers are not a substitute for UTI treatment, however. The infection can continue to spread while you take pain medication, and you may not know how far it's progressed until you've developed a serious kidney infection.
